Offline-first capture

It keeps shooting where the signal doesn't reach

Barns, basements, beaches, venues chosen for the view, not the bars on a phone. Every shot saves to the guest's phone the instant it's taken and uploads automatically once a connection comes back, even hours later. Nobody has to know it happened.

How it actually works

What happens when the signal drops

Saved before it's sent

The shot writes to the guest's phone first. Uploading is a separate step that happens whenever the connection allows it, not a requirement to finish taking the photo.

A visible queue, not a guess

Guests see exactly how many frames are still uploading. Nothing silently fails, nothing needs to be retaken because a bar or two of signal disappeared.

Where this matters

The venues this is actually for

  • A cellar or basement reception with no signal at all
  • A beach or vineyard wedding, chosen for the view, not the coverage
  • A crowded room where two hundred phones are fighting for the same tower
  • An international venue where a guest's roaming data is off by default

FAQ

What hosts ask

What happens if the connection never comes back during the event?

The shots stay queued on the guest's phone and upload the next time it's online, even the next morning. Nothing is lost by staying offline.

Can a guest tell if their shot is still uploading?

Yes. The camera shows exactly how many frames are queued, so nobody has to wonder if something worked.

Does this apply to video too?

Yes. Clips queue and upload the same way photos do.

Does a host need to do anything to enable this?

No. Offline capture is on for every event, at every tier, with nothing to configure.
